It’s about dogs hearing and feeling our love

Peta Love, aka novelist Flora Kennedy, grew up with dogs. As an adult she has lived with Alaskan Malamutes, fostered dogs in her home, edited dog magazines and worked as a volunteer for animal welfare and rescue organizations in the United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand. She loves all dogs {and cats, living with at least three at any given time} and is trained in Veterinary Homeopathy.

Her heart’s desire is that dogs around the world feel the love of being read a story written especially for them.

“I’ve created Stories for My Dog to make the lives of dogs better, to give back to them, to deepen the connection they have with people. It would be wonderful if we read to dogs everywhere – in homes, rescue centres, buses, animal sanctuaries, cars, refuge centres, parks, camp sites, on the streets and in doggy day care centres

… Old dogs, puppy dogs, frightened dogs, loving dogs, family dogs, abused dogs, rescue dogs, loved dogs, best friend dogs, companion dogs, therapy dogs, dirty dogs, pampered dogs, naughty dogs, three-legged dogs, abandoned dogs, grieving dogs, sick dogs, treasured dogs, stray dogs, stud dogs, mama dogs, dogs whose people are away on holiday … you get the idea”
